Fluid Mechanics and Aerospace Propulsion

The Department of Fluid Mechanics and Aerospace Propulsion is in charge of teaching basic disciplines (areas of knowledge of fluid mechanics and thermal machines and heat engines) as well as applied ones (aerospace engineering), which establish the propulsion systems operation of air/space vehicles. In addition, scientific research in various branches of aerospace knowledge is high on the agenda of the Department activities, which led to the recognition of some of its members at an international scale.
