The Quality Unit mission is to facilitate the development of UPM quality policies and support those actors involved in all processes in order to achieve a continuous improvement of the institution, through initiatives to advice, educate, and create and foster a culture of quality among all members of the university community.
The Internal Quality Assurance System (SGIC as per its acronym in Spanish) is the ETSIAE mechanism to ensure the compliance with its social commitment in terms of achieving the goals defined by its mission.
Thanks to SGIC, it is possible to evaluate and improve the efficiency and quality of academic and research results, companies’ partnership and services within the entire university community. In short, the aim is to disseminate, in all fields of the School, the culture of quality and continuous improvement.
