Undergraduate’s studies are the first step of the European university curricula, whose purpose is the student to obtain an overall education driven to the exercise of professional activities.
ETSIAE offers the undergraduate’s degree in Aerospace Engineering (GIA, as per its acronym in Spanish) with 240 ECTS credits in four years. Starting the third year, you choose a specialisation. There are five to choose: Aerospace Vehicles, Aerospace Propulsion, Navigation and Aerospace Systems, Airports and Air Transport, and Aerospace Sciences and Technologies.
These studies provide a qualifying background, hence its graduates do obtain professional qualifications officially recognised to carry out a regulated exercise of different occupations as Technical Aeronautical Engineer (Ingeniero Técnico Aeronáutico), in accordance to their field of expertise. Once the degree obtained, you can either choose to access the labour market or to continue the academic education.
